Lee Marchant

Lee Marchant, resident, business owner and civic leader of Monroe county, was appointed to the Ivy Tech Community College board of trustees, by Governor Mitch Daniels, January of 2005.

Marchant, the president and CEO of LJM Enterprises, will serve a three-year term representing Ivy Tech’s Bloomington Campus, made up of the Bloomington campus.

Marchant said his involvement with the college goes back 20 years, to when he and Ivy Tech President Gerald Lamkin worked together to promote nursing education at the college.

He chaired the site selection committee for the Ivy Tech Bloomington campus on Daniels Way west of the city and formerly led the state Ivy Tech Foundation board.
