Academic Skills Advancement Department
Ivy Tech Community College offers a complete range of Academic Skills Advancement courses in addition to the various technical and general education courses which make up the core of degree and certificate programs. These courses are specifically designed to teach and enhance academic skills needed for students to successfully complete college-level coursework. Placement into these courses is determined by performance on the ASSET assessment and by advisor recommendations. Students may also opt to complete courses to enhance study skills and specific academic skills necessary for particular courses.
