Welcome!
The Health Information Technology Associate of Science degree program will prepare students to work in the field of health information and medical record management. It is a program that prepares individuals to plan, design, and manage health record systems.  HIT professionals assist in collecting, storing, securing, retrieving, analyzing and transmitting health information.  This information is used by clinical professionals in health care organizations. 

Health Information Technology includes instructions in the principles and basic content of the biomedical and clinical sciences; information technology and applications; data and database management; clinical research methodologies; health information resources and systems; office management; legal requirements; and professional standards.
