Brown elected to foundation board

Bill C. Brown, a Bloomington business owner, has been elected to the board of directors of Ivy Tech Foundation.

The foundation supports the mission of Ivy Tech Community College by partnering with donors to invest in Ivy Tech students, faculty and programs.

Brown and his wife, Patty, contributed land for the site of Ivy Tech's new Bloomington campus, which opened in September 2002. An outdoor plaza at the campus was named the Bill C. and Patty Brown Plaza in honor of the contribution.
