Credit union gives annual scholarships

BLOOMINGTON — IU Credit Union awarded $20,000 in returning student scholarships for the 2007-08 academic year at the credit union’s annual meeting March 28.

Each year, the credit union provides scholarships to members who are either full- or part-time students returning to Indiana University or Ivy Tech Community College after a break in their education of two or more consecutive years.

Winners from IU include Crystal Cates, an undergraduate student in informatics; Heather Gray, an undergraduate student in public health; Andrew Hoff, an undergraduate student in interior design; Mark Hood, an undergraduate student in general studies; Gretchen Morgan, a graduate student in educational leadership and policy studies; Traci Nagle, a graduate student in linguistics; Dustin Peterson, a graduate student in education and student affairs; and Lisa Yozviak, a graduate student in choral conducting.

Winners from Ivy Tech include Chioma Aneke, a student in nursing and computer information systems; Ann Boone, a student in early childhood education; Stevina Hillman, a student in nursing; Dara Price, a student in early childhood education; and Lisa Rambo, a student in early childhood education.
