Mayor and opponent to discuss Constitution

Ivy Tech Community College-Bloomington will celebrate Constitution Day on Monday with a discussion titled “The Constitution is Not Just a Piece of Paper.”

Bloomington Mayor Mark Kruzan and city councilman David Sabbagh will discuss the topic with an audience. Sabbagh, a Republican, is challenging Kruzan, a Democrat, in this fall’s mayoral election.

The discussion will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in Lamkin Hall at the Ivy Tech Campus, 200 Daniels Way. Constitution Day marks the 220th anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Constitution.
