Ivy Tech wins 23 regional awards

BLOOMINGTON — Ivy Tech Community College won 23 awards for its marketing efforts at the regional conference of the National Council of Marketing and Public Relations Professionals held recently in Cincinnati.

Three gold medals, 11 silver medals and nine bronze medals were awarded to various campuses in the Ivy Tech Community College system. Jeff Fanter, vice president of marketing and communications, also won the Communicator of the Year award. The award honors a two-year college marketing professional who has demonstrated leadership and ability in college communications. It is awarded annually in each of NCMPR’s seven districts.

Bloomington received three silver Medallions of Achievement (Foundation Annual Report, Nifty and Thrifty, Poster Series) and two bronze Medallions of Merit (Newsletter, Banners and Outdoor Media).
