The College maintains a bookstore where students may buy textbooks and supplies. College sweaters, jackets, souvenirs and other items also are available for purchase.
Students who purchase books and supplies covered by their financial aid must do so by the end of the second week of the term. In order to be prepared for class, all students should purchase required books and supplies before the first day of class. If you are uncertain about what you will need, the Bookstore staff will be happy to assist you.
Separate checks are required for tuition and textbooks.
Book Buy Back
The Spring semester used book buy back will be held on Thursday, May 8 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Friday, May 9 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Monday, May 12 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the second floor rotunda.
Summer Semester Used Books
Used books for summer semester will be available for purchase in the bookstore beginning Monday, May 19th at 8:00 a.m.
Summer Semester Bookstore Charge Deadline
Friday, June 13 will be the last day students will be allowed to charge items on financial aid and/or sponsored agencies for summer semester. Any exchange or return of books due to a schedule change will need to be done by June 10.

Bookstore Refund Policy
Refunds for books in original condition may be made within 10 days of purchase if a class has been dropped or cancelled. No refunds will be given without the cash register receipt. Supplies, clothing and promotional items are non-returnable. Refunds will be issued by check and mailed to the student’s home address. However, if the student owes tuition, the book refund will be credited to that balance and no check will be issued.

Bloomington On Campus Class Book Orders
Plan ahead and avoid the lines and have your books delivered to your door. Students taking on-campus courses at the Bloomington campus may order their books online @ http://bookstore.bloomington.ivytech.edu. On-line orders could possibly take 5-7 days to process. Books ordered on this website will be shipped to the address given and cannot be picked up at the bookstore. See below for information on ordering distance education books.
Distance Ed Book Orders
Students taking distance education classes from any campus of Ivy Tech will need to purchase their books from the new statewide on-line bookstore @ http://bookstore.ivytech.edu.
The bookstore is happy to assist students in ordering internet books whenever possible.
