The Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) is a 4-part assessment consisting of Reading, Mathematics, Science, and English (in that order). Testing is done on a walk-in basis.
Times are on a first come, first serve basis.
Monday – Thursday…..9:00 a.m. – 9::00 p.m. (no tests given after 5:00 p.m.)
Friday ………………...9:00 a.m. – 5::00 p.m. (no tests given after 1:00 p.m.)
2nd Saturday………… .10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (no tests given after 11:00 a.m.)
Allow 4 hours to complete assessment.
Test Day-Bring the following items to the Testing Center, Room C234:
- $30 paid receipt from the Bursar’s Office.
- “Authorization to test” form from Enrollment Services
- Current Driver’s License.
- Your Login and Password if you purchased a practice test or book through ATI Assessment Technologies-if you do not remember, it will cause delay in the Testing Center
Calculators are not permitted to be used during the assessment.
The TEAS assessment may be taken a maximum of 3 times within 2 years with 30 days between.** All components must meet the passing standards. Scores from multiple tests will not be combined to meet the standard.
Reading = 80 %
Mathematics = 60%
Science = 60%
English = 70%
** TEAS retests will include all four test components listed above.
